This may be a bit of the beaten track ,but im interested in any info anyone can give me on the eel,time of migration ,time the elvers come back up the rivers etc,and whats the best way to catch them ,im interseted in stream netting but i am not sure on time of year for the silver eel.Thanks

ive always heard the saying, when the eels are in, the salmon is in. i guess every river is different. but in most rivers i fish, you could catch them all summer. do you never fish for them with? great for breaking up a boring days fishing.
