Have any of you came across these polish or latvian etc poachers on our lakes or rivers this season? Ive seen loads. They keep everything they land, from a 2 inch roach to a 12lb pike. Even worse, i just read a report on another site, that an angler on the moneycaragh river at dundrum came across 4 eastern block people with plastic bags of salmon parr and seatrout. They must have been using some sort of gas canisters or something to kill so many parr. Its getting serious! Id say a right hook is in order for these bast**ds
Yeh I've heard similar reports from england. Don't suppose conservation of fish stocks is a high priority in other countries! Suppose all we can do is hope for more bailiffs.
alledgedly there was a 50lb plus pike taken from enagh lough in derry and killed and barbecued by polish anglers my mate seen pictures down at the oaks fishery.

Have come accross these bastards myself a few times. Luckily enough where I do my fishing there's always people close to hand to shout on, they usualy leave when challenged. _________________ Lets kill some vermin.
