Have any of you used an airflo floating line? I bought one of their cheaper versions, and i find it crap. The coils never straighten. Im now on a greys platinum, 1000 times better.

i had 1 from years ago airflo gold it was brilliant for the fist 2 seasons then after that it was nothing but coils, im now useing ron thompson lines

i use mine for the strimmer,cuts the grass really well.
greys are a good line but occationally on the floater the tip tends to go sub surface.

never went beyond the cheap end of the lines myself. never had no need always mangaed to cover the fish where i fish. i have the shakespeare glider now in float intermediate and fast sink. suit me well lake and river.

Yes james ive noticed the tip does sub surface, at the start, i thought the flies i was using must be bloody heavy lol

Airflo = crap floating lines the sinkers and intermediates are ok
try the shakespere TPD lines I`ve been using them this season in both floating & intermedite with no problems
