Just back from a weeks fishing on the moy. for the week we managed to get 7 fish, 3 on fly 4 on bait. most were around 3lb mark but my da managed a 12 1/2 pound fish, slightly coloured but good enough for the smokery. upper moy wasnt fishing at all, with a fish maybe being caught every other day or so on pools like paddens and wood pool. to finnish of the holidays we fished the weir pool this morning, were I managed one and lost 5! friend also got his first salmon on the fly, first time fly fishign for them.flies that were doing it was gold cascade and silver cascade, size 12. all in all it was a great week tho, and will be back in a few weeks
