Hi Sean and others,
Great to have an all Ireland Forum. Well done to all involved. My names Brent (alias) Joey1. I'm in Greystones Wicklow and fly fish as many places as I can get to in a season. Would fish the Foyle stystem and the Moy in a regular season and the East Coast Rivers, from the Upper Bann, Whitewater, down to the Fane, Boyne, Kells Blackwater and the Avonmore.
Carlingford loch is a favourite spot and I try to get my boat onto Corrib and Ennel when I can.
Variety is the spice of life, so I try to get a flick at salmon, sea trout, brownies, pike and bass. Wife hates me this time of year but that's to be expected.
So gudday all and I'll flap me virtual gums as often as possible.
LOL,
Joey1

Haven't been, to the Moy hopefully later this year in August.
At Carlingford around Ballagan Point for this May Long Weekend for bass so I'll keep you posted. Have a good weekend, weather looks fantastic, shorts and polaroids and lilly white Irish legs.
LOL,

what part of the foyle system do uou fish i am a memebr of strabane lifford anglers and sion mills anglling club have u fished any of these waters
Usually the Sion Mills Stretch, the Gravanue and Paddy's around June/July but with angling pressure and distance it might be only a couple of trips this year.
Fished the Owenkillew (spelling?) nice stretch, and a mate of mine extensively fishes the Finn, but again says angling pressure can be a little intimidating.
Are they catching any fish down near Strabane yet?
LOL,
