fifteen pounder from the oaks fishery Derry
this is a big pike my mate caught on sunday past in the oaks fishery in derry. this water is reputed to hold a 46 pounder. it a trout fishery that also allows pike fishing. the fish caught was weighed on scales that had not been officially zeroed so the record was unadmissable. she is still in there though. my mate and me are new to pike our previous expeience is salmon and trout. he reckoned it to be about fifteen. to get an idea of scale thats his shoe in the pic and he is a size ten.

bloody hell thats a nice fish, what did you get it on. I got a pike 2 years ago at pontoon bridge on the PRAWN! while fishing for springers lol. ive been trying for pike at a lake near dromara, cant remmeber the name of it, still to see a fish come out of it lol

Hi There
Fished the Oaks on Easter Monday for the first time fishing from the bank landed a few jacks, lost a duble figure one, she took me around a fishing stand. looking forward to my next visit, going to fly fish for them.
