My name is Paul and I live, currently, right beside the Corrib about 5 miles outside Headford Co Galway but am due to move shortly to Shrule in Mayo.
We moved over to Ireland from England in August last year but not just for the fishing. Proximity to the grandchildren had a lot to do with it as well.
In the UK all my fishing was fly fishing on rivers - the Wharfe for trout and the Tyne for salmon so if anyone wants any info on those rivers I might be able to help.
I'm starting to get into lough fishing and in fact caught my first Corrib trout last Sunday.
